Artist Statement:
Tony Luza is an accomplished multidisciplinary
artist and Graphic designer from Johannesburg,
South Africa. Tony’s art used many types of media, including hand drawing, painting, printmaking and music. He was also a pioneer in computer-generated art using computer parts. His highly
imaginative, fantasy-inspired works use layers
of metaphor and story to stimulate curiosity,
provoke thought and encourage further inspection. A Musical, rhythmic synthesis of drawing,
painting, collage and assemblage, Tony’s visually
tactile, mixed-media work is composed to collectively create a new reality with a more expressive,
representative arrangement.
Born in Democratic Republic of Congo, Tony
Luza received his formal art training in his
native homeland Kinshasa. A graduate from
Graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from
the Kinshasa Institute of Fine Art (Academy des
Beaux-Arts de Kinshasa. Tony’s artistic piece
has been exhibited both nationally and internationally in hotels, industry organizations,

Valley Estate and including group shows with
the Society of Artist under the sun. His work
has been featured in numerous newspapers. Although Tony is most known for his paintings,
his graphic design work is showcased at his
company which works in partnership with his
wife at flash design
