Artist Statement:
I express myself with my art. Thus, my persona gleams in my paintings. It reflects the depth of my emotions with multi layers. As an artist, I regard myself as an abstract genre artist. My artwork depicts an expressive and vibrant upshot. In a nutshell, I describe my art as emotive and visually impactful.
My process commences with an open-ended mindset. It allows me to follow the leads of my colors on the canvas. As a poet gets engaged in his poetry while composing, my art flows on the canvass, comprising of vibrant and subtle colors. The brush rules my mind, body and soul. I get enslaved to my brush and colors. Led by the brush, I use washes, marks and textured layers, which enhances and fills my work with depth and hidden nuances , disclosing the hidden message by looking closely and engaging with the art piece. Each painting is a journey for me and I want to spread my wings with ambiguity.
I started my journey as an artist with painting abstract art and figurative, using oils, acrylics and experimenting with new techniques, different styles and materials. Being an explorer, I also worked with abstract atmospheric landscapes. Further, I embarked on a journey which I had never discovered in the past. While making abstract paintings I figured out that my process subconsciously incorporated all of my yesteryears knowhow. Evolution of self, expressed the core in my art process. My process can be summarized as, building layers of texture mediums, mark makings, adding washes, glazing, scraping and adding more layers. For me, a work is finished when it catches the mood and I feel like looking at it forever and ever.

Artistic Influences:
The expressive works of the old Masters have always influenced me to work in layers and experiment with different brushes and tools. I always get inspired by the works of art of the masters with vibrant colors but have a balance of neutrals too. To get proper color combinations in my art is the first thing and I take time to select them.
