The Magic of Childhood: Bea Schubert's Colorful Rebellion against Everyday Life
My artistic expression is a rebellion against the dreariness of the everyday, a manifesto for the joy and wonder of childhood. In my works, I create a world where lightheartedness and imagination reign, where colors come alive, and hope and courage assume a tangible form.
Each of my paintings is an invitation to let yourself be swept away by the power of optimism. They are meant to lift and inspire the soul: Don’t just dream you dreams. Live them, boldly!
In my works, you will find a colorful oasis that will motivate you to discover your own, unique story. I want you to be the hero of your life, surrounded by a world infused with joy, hope, and boundless energy.
As an artist, I see myself as an ambassador for the adventure of life. My creative spirit rebels against conventional limitations. Instead, it celebrates a world of unlimited possibilities. My goal is to create a space where visitors to my artworks remember the wonder of childhood – a time when anything was possible and the world was a playground full of adventures.
My vision is a colorful world, free from the shackles of adulthood. A world where every individual is free to shape their own reality, without being constrained by societal expectations. I want my art to serve as a catalyst for this vision, a life-affirming and joyful example of how life can be when we allow ourselves to see it through the eyes of a child.
So, my artworks are not just visual experiences. They are invitations to live life in all its glorious colors. They encourage you to let go of everyday worries and instead immerse yourself in a world of joy, creativity, and lightheartedness. My art wants to show that life is beautiful: A magic adventure, waiting to be discovered and lived.

AbstractPop and Lust for Life: Bea Schubert's Bold Vision of a Colorful World
Bea Schubert, born in 1959, is an artist who not only saw the world but absorbed it deeply within herself. Her artistic journey began with studying at the renowned University of Fine Arts in Braunschweig under the guidance of Professor Hermann Albert, where she learned the fundamentals of painting. However, the true turning point in her career came after her studies when she decided to depart from the conventional path and spent seven years exploring the world with nothing but a backpack.
This journey was more than just an adventure; it was a quest for light and color in a often dark world, a pursuit of joy and vibrancy amidst global catastrophes. This profound experience shaped her artistic vision and led her back to her true calling: painting. Here, she found her unique voice and coined the term "AbstractPop," which perfectly encapsulates the essence of her art. Bea combines vibrant neon colors with everyday objects to create works that exude pure joy of life. Her preference for large canvases allows her to create a visual impact that captivates viewers. The theme in her art is childhood.
Bea Schubert, whose studios are located in both Nienburg/Weser and the sunny island of Mallorca, has made a name for herself internationally. Her artworks are presented and esteemed in galleries and prestigious art fairs worldwide. Impressive also is the recognition her work has received from renowned institutions such as the German Embassy in Athens and the Chagall Museum in Vitebsk, Belarus. Additionally, her works find their place in important international collections.
For the future, Bea has grand plans. She aspires to exhibit her art in museums and in public spaces on the Balearic Island, thus spreading her vision of a brighter, more colorful world further. Bea Schubert is more than just an artist; she is a visionary who through her art makes the world a more livable and colorful place.

Artistic Influences:
I love street art artists and abstract expressionists. But most important for me is Gerhard Richter saying, "Kunst ist die höchste Form der Hoffnung." ("Art is the highest form of hope.")
